Progress Reports go out this week.

Science Test on Chapter 4 this week.

4th grade end of the year field trip is scheduled for May 25 and 26. We will be going to Laser Quest. Our package will cost $13.00 per participant. It consists of 2 games and a video presentation on lasers. One half of the 4th grade will go on the 25th, and the other half will go on the 26th. Permissions slips will go out this week.

Week of April 12, 2010

We have had a very busy week. Aims preparations have been a success.

We will be testing for AIMS all week. Please make sure your child is present and on time every day. You should also make sure your child gets plenty of sleep. If you send snacks, make sure they are healthy.

We will not have a regular schedule. Therefore, there will not be homework or a spelling list for this week due to AIMS. You might see a study packet for math, but not homework.

I am looking forward to great scores for AIMS. Your children have worked very hard. I can't wait for them to show their knowledge in these assessments. Thank you parents, for all of your support in assisting you children in our preparations for these tests.

Week of April 5, 2010

Happy Easter! Enjoy the 3 day weekend.

Don't forget the $7.00 due on Monday for our in-house field trip. This is a surprise for moms.

This is our last week before AIMS! We will be doing a lot of reviewing to prepare for AIMS so our week will not be normal when it comes to homework assignments. Please look for Math sheets or packets. Please try to help your child with some of the work they are bringing home. It is also very important that every student be present and on time during our testing week. Our testing will be on a strict schedule and we will begin on time. Make sure your child gets lots of rest and pack healthy snacks for them.

Our first field trip was a great success! We all had a wonderful time. Can't wait for our next one. We will be sending home some information about our in house field trip coming up soon.

Parent/Teacher conferences scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday. Both days are half days for our students.

THERE IS NO SCHOOL FRIDAY, 04-02-10

There are 2 weeks left before AIMS. Make sure you check your child for any packets or homework they are taking home. Please guide them through the information as they are preparing very hard.

Week of March 22, 2010

Back from one week spring break! Hope everyone had a great relaxing time off.

Field Trip to AZ State Capitol and AZ Mineral and Mining Museum on Wednesday. Make sure your child brings a cold lunch. Extra money is optional. Both museums have a small gift shop.

Week of March 8, 2010

AZ State Capitol Museum and AZ Mineral and Mining Museum field trip permission slips went home last week. Please sign and return with $2.00. Our trip is scheduled for Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Please pack a sack lunch for your child for the trip.

Spring Break is March 15 - 19. When we return March 22, we will begin CBM assessments for the end of the 3rd. quarter.

March 26, 2010 is the end of 3rd. quarter grading period.
