The students are trying to get in a good work habit established. 4th grade is a bit of a shocker for some! A bit more getting used to, but we'll get through it.
I have extended the due date for the scholastic book orders until Wed, Aug 24.

2 1/2 more days!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the parents for your help and guidance throughout the school year. It takes teamwork to accomplish all that needs to be completed. Thanks for your positive encouragement and suggestions. I would also like to thank you for all of your generous donations in the supplies needed throughout the school year. I have surely been blessed!

Thank you Mrs. Franke for volunteering in our class once a week. That was such a great help! In addition, Mrs. Franke taught 5 lessons of Regions in Junior Achievement!

I will surely miss all of our students. We had such a great year! We will be celebrating our accomplishments with a party on Tuesday. I will bring pizza and if you are able, you may send any kind of snack to share with the class.

Yipee! One and a half more weeks!

All of the students' History projects turned out awesome! I am so proud of them all. I would like to thank you parents for supporting your child with this project. They were all very creative and detailed. Thank you.

We will be working on DIBELS this week. Please look for their results by the end of the week. I will send it home with your child.

We will be planning an end of the year pizza party for next Tuesday, the 24th. I will buy the pizza and the students may bring any other treats they would like.

FINALLY! AIMS Week! Monday will be general review. AIMS will be taken on the mornings of Tues. thru Fri. There will not be any other general testing for the students. The students will be allowed to bring in hard candy or mints to suck on during their tests. It seems to relax them during testing. (no suckers) Please make sure your child gets plenty of rest this week. All students should be present and not tardy.
