November 1, 2010

Please feed my fish.

November already! We are moving along. We have started our Arizona History Studies. Since we don't have enough books, we will do AZ Hist. twice a week and share our books with another class.

Our spelling words are getting harder now. Please make sure your child is studying every week.

Scholastic Book orders go home this week. If you wish to order on line, the class activation code is GXB6Q. There is a wider variety and you don't have to send money with your child. You pay with a credit card on line!

This is the last week of the quarter. There is no school on Friday the 15th.

I have already reminded the students about any missing work. Please check with your child to make sure they are being responsible about turning in all the work that has been requested.

Our class will be writing letters to soldiers to encourage and thank them for their service. Most of these will be going to hospitals overseas. One of our parents has volunteered to mail them for us. Thank you Jillian, for the awsesome suggestion and thank you Mrs. Franke for mailing them for us!
